I hope this note finds you doing well and living with intention.
April was one of those months that feels both full and fulfilling—packed with travel, meaningful conversations, new ideas taking flight, and (of course) a bit of fun along the way.
One thing I’ve learned over the years is that growth doesn’t always come from grinding harder—it often comes from creating space to breathe, reflect, and surround ourselves with the right people.
This month was a reminder of that truth, over and over again. Whether I was walking the pink sands of Bermuda, launching a new initiative, taking in a baseball game, or simply chatting with fellow dreamers and doers, I felt more aligned than ever with the work I’m meant to do and the people I want to do it with.
So, here’s a look at some highlights from the month—and some exciting things ahead!

Speaking in Bermuda
How crazy is this? I was paid to speak and travel to Bermuda! What? Yeah, that’s right, and wow—it was stunning. Beyond the turquoise waters and postcard-perfect views, what really struck me was how recharging it felt to simply be in a place that encourages slowing down.
I found myself journaling more, thinking more creatively, and reconnecting with my “why.” Sometimes, stepping away from the day-to-day noise is exactly what we need to hear our own voice again.
Ambitious Speaker Collective
I’ve been dreaming about this for a while now, and it’s finally here: the Ambitious Speaker Collective is officially live! This is a space for speakers who aren’t just looking to book gigs—they’re building a mission, a message, and a movement.
Whether you’re just finding your voice or already commanding stages, the Collective is about growing together, challenging each other, and sharing resources in a way that lifts us all. I was hoping for 10-15 people to join the kickoff, but 26 of you joined in on the learning and fun.
I’m incredibly proud of what we’re building, and I’d love for you to be part of it.
A Podcast to Enjoy
Lastly, I recently hopped on a podcast with Anne Bonney to share my journey from playing it safe as an actuary to chasing gorillas in Rwanda (okay, almost hugging one).
If you’re feeling stuck on the “right” path and craving something more meaningful, this one’s for you. Give it a listen—I think it’ll challenge and inspire you.

Embracing the Adventure
I want this to be a reminder that who we surround ourselves with matters. Are you close to people who light you up? Who pushes you to be your best? Who believes in your potential even before you fully do? I’m learning to be more intentional about that, and it’s making a huge difference
I will continue to beat this drum until y’all get sick of me — or I get sick of saying it:
1) The right peeps in the Jeep are those who are aligned with our mission and willing to contribute to it.
2) We have more agency than we realize to curate our jeeps by adding people, kicking people out, and moving them around.
Do you have the right peeps in your jeep?
Safari Update
Stay tuned about potential future safaris. Conversations are happening about how we can put some options together to allow more people to go, keep it as affordable as possible, and allow the flexibility for all of you to experience what you truly want.
As we head into May, I’m feeling energized and open. There are more speaking events on the horizon, more lives to impact, and more ways to stay grounded in what matters most. If we haven’t connected lately, hit reply—I’d love to hear what you’re working on or dreaming about right now.
Thanks for being here. You’re part of this journey in more ways than you know.
If you’re not already following me on LinkedIn, let’s connect! You might also enjoy subscribing to my YouTube channel, becoming friends on Facebook, or connecting on TikTok or Instagram. Join the conversation, and let’s keep this adventure going together.
I also recently launched two new Facebook pages! One for my speaking adventures and one for my officiant business, Awesome Officiant. I hope you will follow along and give me a “Like”. 😁
Until next time,
