Will your life, work, and leadership be EPIC in 2023?
Few people inspire me more to live my most epic life than my son Ryan — he is so authentically himself all the time.
He is one of the smartest people I’ve ever met, and I’m not just saying that as a father. The dude was teaching himself how to program computers at age 10, won every academic award imaginable, scholarshipped his way through college, was interning at Fortune 500 companies at age 15, etc, etc.
But he has remained humble, primarily because I believe his identity is not wrapped up in his intelligence. His source of value is not related to his IQ.

Instead, he embraces life doing what he loves – swords and renaissance, swing dancing, and strategy games.
He leans into the stuff he loves and intentionally surrounds himself with the people who value his epic journey.
He has the courage to say no to things that aren’t aligned with his life vision and to say yes to things that others might question.
He is the picture of EPIC…
Envisioning his best life.
Planning how to get there.
Inviting the right people to join him.
And having the Courage to do what is needed rather than what is “right” by others’ standards.
How EPIC is your life? How can I help?
My EPIC is helping others lean into their epic. The ripple effects in organizations, friendships, and families give me chills.
Make 2023 the year you become more EPIC!
