How I Help Small Businesses Thrive
As a small business owner and coach, I am passionate about helping others achieve success in their endeavors. Recently, I had the opportunity to be interviewed on a podcast hosted by Victor Dedaj, where we discussed the importance of clear and precise goals, mindset, and the power of the subconscious mind.
One of the key takeaways from the podcast was the importance of clarity when it comes to setting goals. Whether you are an aspiring entrepreneur or a small business owner, it’s essential to be clear about what you want to achieve and why. Vague goals can lead you down the wrong path and leave you feeling unfulfilled. So take the time to ask yourself the tough questions and get specific about what you want to achieve in your business and in your life.
In addition to clarity, mindset is another crucial factor that can determine your success. Having a positive mindset involves believing in yourself and your abilities. However, this can be a challenge for some people due to self-limiting beliefs or childhood traumas. I recommend working on self-talk, confidence, and overcoming self-limiting beliefs to develop a positive mindset.
The power of the subconscious mind is also a critical aspect of success. By internalizing your goals, recognizing your strengths, and overcoming your weaknesses, you can unlock the full potential of your subconscious mind. I have found that the “seven whys” exercise is a powerful tool to help gain clarity about your goals.
Finally, I believe that personal brand and mindset are two crucial elements of success that people often overlook. By developing a positive mindset and unleashing the power of the subconscious mind, you can overcome self-limiting beliefs and childhood traumas that hold you back. Believe in yourself, develop your personal brand, and prepare your mind for success. With these elements in place, you can achieve your goals effortlessly.
As a coach and strategist, my goal is to help small businesses thrive, even in the midst of difficult times. Small businesses are the lifeblood of the community, and if they thrive, the community will also thrive. By focusing on clarity, innovation, and community, small businesses can not only survive but also thrive. So, if you’re an aspiring entrepreneur or a small business owner, take a page from my book and start working towards a brighter future for yourself and your community
The Importance of Being Honest with Yourself
Being a problem solver and having a knack for complex problem-solving has served me well in both the corporate world and as a business owner. However, I must admit that I haven’t always been completely honest about where my true strengths and passions lie.
As a people pleaser, I found myself taking on roles that I wasn’t truly passionate about, such as management positions. Despite being successful in these roles, I realized that managing people wasn’t really my skill set and it didn’t give me fulfillment. I eventually learned to be more true to myself and focus on what I truly loved – problem-solving.
My experience is relatable to many of us who may have found ourselves in similar situations. We often take on roles or jobs that we think we should be doing, instead of following our true passions. This can lead to dissatisfaction and unhappiness in our work and personal lives.
Discovering your true passion is essential for finding fulfillment and success in your work and personal life. It is important to be honest with yourself about your strengths and passions. It’s okay to say no to opportunities that don’t align with your interests and skills. By focusing on what you truly love, you’ll be able to excel and find fulfillment in your work and personal life
Get the Right Peeps in Your Jeep
We often make decisions based on default options, without really thinking about what we truly want. It is important to take responsibility for your own decisions and actively choose what you want in life. This includes surrounding yourself with the right people in your team, rather than simply defaulting to those who are already in your life. In a recent safari trip, I realized that having the right people with me made the experience much more enjoyable and exciting. The same applies to life and business – if you surround yourself with the right people, it can make a significant difference. We can control whose energy we allow in and how much influence they have over us. Intentionally pursue people you want to spend time with, and kick out those who drain your energy. Remember, we are the drivers of our jeep, and we have the power to choose who we allow in.
